Skiddaw House is available for group hire throughout the year. It makes an ideal location for hiking, running and orienteering groups or for friends and families looking for an adventurous place for a get-together.

Many school groups, D of E training groups, Scout clubs and youth groups stay at Skiddaw House every year. ​A night or two at Skiddaw House provides several challenges: navigating to get here, cooking on gas, and spending a night without TV, wifi, or even mobile signal.
