Skiddaw House - Booking and Contact

HOW TO BOOKTo be sure of a bed it is best to book in advance. The easiest way to book is by using the YHA Booking System and paying with a Credit Card. To do this online go to the YHA Accomodation Search Page - select 'Lake District' and then 'Skiddaw House' and enter your details. You can also book direct with the YHA by phone on 0800 0191700.
If you want to book direct with the hostel, you can contact the warden in the following ways:
- By Post at: Skiddaw House, Bassenthwaite, Keswick, Cumbria CA12 4QX
- By Telephone: 07747 174293
- By emailing the warden here.
Please allow plenty of time to send and receive responses - postal mail can take up to a week. Also phone reception can be variable in bad weather.
To confirm bookings please send a letter along with full payment (cheques made out to ‘Skiddaw House’).
Please note that the hostel has no Credit or Debit Card facilities. All payments should be made in advance by cash or cheque. (Please use the YHA Booking System if you want to pay by Credit or Debit Card)
