Skiddaw House is a remote Youth Hostel, but can offer the following facilities:

• The hostel opens at 5pm each day, but there is shelter available during the day if needed.
• 22 beds in 4, 5 and 8 bedded rooms. All Bedding Included.
  
• Hot water, shower and indoor toilets.
• Gas-heated drying room.
• Well equipped self-catering kitchen with gas oven. ‘Help Yourself’ breakfast available for £3.25 per person.
• Small shop selling basic supplies - sufficient to make a simple evening meal (does not include fresh produce).
  
• Comfortable common room with coal and wood burning stove.
• 24v lighting. There is no mains electricity- please bring a torch.
• Camping available.
